Acetaminophen chewable tablet

Acetaminophen can be given every 4 hours for a maximum of 5 doses in 24 hours. 

Common brand names: Tylenol®, APAP®, FeverAll®

Please be aware that multiple other over-the-counter drugs (Nyquil®, DayQuil®, Mucinex®, Robitussin®,etc.) and prescription drugs (Hycet®, Norco®,etc.) contain Acetaminophen. If the patient takes any of these medications then due diligence must be observed to ensure that adequate time elapses (at least 4 hours) before you administer Acetaminophen.
